Job Description:
Performs both routine and complex laboratory analyses including those requiring independent judgment accurately, precisely, and efficiently through the proper use of facilities, supplies, equipment, and resources. Involved in problem solving, teaching and training, and supervisory assistance. Clinical laboratory experience preferred, but not required.
Performs related duties as assigned.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or related science.
Certification: Certification as a Medical Technologist or Clinical Laboratory Scientist by a national certification agency.
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Computer skills. Organizational skills. Good communication skills. Ability to maintain accurate and orderly records.
Equipment Used: Standard laboratory instrumentation.
