Job Description:
Performs both routine and complex histologic procedures, including those requiring independent
judgment, accuracy, precision, efficiently utilizes facilities, supplies, equipment and resources. Involved in problem solving, teaching and training, and supervisory assistance.
Education: Bachelors degree.
Experience: One year previous experience preferred.
Certification/Registration: Certification as HTL (ASCP).
Working Conditions, Mental and Physical Requirements: Physical demands are push, pull, and grip up to 25 lbs., pinch up to 10 lbs., kneel, crouch, and crawl minimally. With additional requirements listed on official job description.
Equipment Used: Standard histology equipment and
instrumentation.
