Job Description:
Provides acute, chronic and preventative health care in collaboration with the cardiologist in several inpatient and outpatient settings. Manages patients by assessing, diagnosing, coordinating care, educating and documenting pertinent information in collaboration with the physician in order to meet patient care, hospital and national guidelines. Serves as a resource and educator to patients, family members and staff.
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and nurse practitioner program or accredited physician assisting program required. Certification as an adult nurse practitioner, acute care nurse practitioner or family nurse practitioner or certification by the NCCPA as a physician assistant required. Current RN and APRN license in Nebraska or PA registration in Nebraska is required. Must have certification in basic life support and advanced cardiac life support.
